Vintage Guitar Loops is a veritable archive of vintage Funk, Soul, and R&B rhythm guitar loops inspired by actual 60s-70s records – including everything from classic ”chicken pickin'” licks to James Brown-style “chops”, wah-guitar licks, sexy double-stop Soul ballad flourishes, 70s Retro Funk guitar grooves, and much more. It’s like having a crate full of classic Funk and Soul guitar loops and licks at your fingertips – all royalty-free.

Vintage Guitar Loops contains over 1300 vintage guitar loops and licks (669 guitar loops and 618 guitar licks) – 1.6GB in uncompressed wav data – organized into the following categories:

Vintage R&B
Inspired by classic R&B artists such as James Brown, Maceo Parker & the JBs, and the Average White Band

Retro Funk
Inspired by classic Funk artists such as Earth Wind & Fire, Rufus, Kool & the Gang, Ohio Players, Brothers Johnson, War, Roy Ayers, and The Bar-Kays.

Detroit Soul
Inspired by classic Motown artists like the Temptations (early period), the Four Tops, the Supremes, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, and Stevie Wonder (early Motown period).

Memphis Soul

Funk Soul Vintage Guitar Loops has been formatted in all the industry standard file types: Apple Loops, Acidized WAV and REX. Every piece of commonly used hardware and software will be compatible with at least one of these fully developed and usable formats.

Each audio file has been expertly cut and edited to loop perfectly, and has been recorded in the highest quality 24-bit rate to ensure absolutely top quality end results.

If you work primarily with Apple products, be sure to utilize the extra loop tagging functionality in Garageband and Apple Logic as well as Apple’s proprietary time stretching and pitch bending algorithms.
